Why Autivy

Most marketing sold to tradies is sold by people who have never had to win a job.

You have probably had the call. Big promises, a twelve month contract, a monthly report full of words like impressions. Autivy is built the other way around: one product, one price, no contract, and the only number that counts is whether your phone rings.

  • $497a month, everything included. For most trades, about what one job is worth.
  • 7–10days from the kick-off call to a site that is live and working.
  • 0lock-in contracts, exit fees or minimum terms. Cancel any month.
  • 9systems switched on from day one, not sold to you later as upgrades.

Why we built it

We didn't set out to sell you a website.

Autivy A note from the founder

Ask a tradie what they want and almost nobody says a website. They say they want the phone to ring, and they want to stop losing the jobs they have already earned.

That second part is the one nobody was fixing. Most trade businesses are not short of enquiries. They are short of a way to catch them. The call that came in while you were under a house. The Saturday message that got answered on Monday. The quote that went quiet and never got chased. None of that shows up on a report, which is exactly why it keeps happening.

So we stopped selling websites and built the thing that sits behind one. It answers when you cannot. It texts a missed call back in seconds, takes a booking at ten at night, asks for the review while the job is still fresh, and nudges the quote you forgot about. You still do the work. It just stops the work walking out the door.

Here is the maths, and you can do it in your head on the way to the next job. Work out what an average job is worth to you. If that number is bigger than $497, the whole month is paid for the first time this catches one enquiry you would otherwise have lost. Everything after that is yours. It does not have to find you new customers to be worth it. It only has to stop losing the ones you already have.

We build one thing, for one kind of business, at one price. That is why it is live in a week and a half instead of three months, and why the person you talk to is the person building it.

Book a call and we will put your own numbers on the screen. If they do not add up, you will hear that on the call, not after you have paid for a month.

The options

Four ways to get a trade business online. Honestly compared.

Including the parts where the other three win. If a DIY builder is genuinely the right call for where you are, we would rather you worked that out here than three months in.

Where the others genuinely win. An agency is the better call if you need something bespoke that no product covers, like a booking flow tied into your own software. A DIY builder is the better call if you have more time than money and you are still working out whether the business is for you. Lead platforms are useful for filling a genuinely empty week. What none of them do is answer, book and follow up on their own, every day, for one predictable price.

The honest bit

The five things people say before they say yes.

No. Setup is one kick-off call and one round of feedback on what we send back. After that the only thing you ever do is answer the leads that come in, from your normal phone, by text or by picking up. There is no dashboard you are expected to log into and no software to learn.

No. We rebuild it as a Smart Site and carry over your domain, your photos and anything the old site did well. You keep your Google history and your existing rankings, so nothing you have already built gets thrown away.

One-person businesses usually get the most out of it, because you are the one who cannot answer the phone from the top of a ladder. Missed-call text-back and 24/7 booking replace a receptionist you were never going to hire, for a fraction of what one would cost.

That is the most common thing we hear, and it is fair. The difference here is that there is nothing to be locked into. It is month to month with no exit fee, and your domain and content leave with you, which means we have to keep earning it every single month rather than once at signup.

Then you cancel, and it has cost you one month. We will not promise you a specific number of leads, because anybody promising that is guessing. What we will do on the call is show you exactly where enquiries are leaking out of your business today, before you spend anything at all.

What you can hold us to

Six things we put in writing.

  • 01

    Your domain is yours

Registered in your name where possible, transferred to you on request, no questions and no fee.

  • 02

    Month to month, always

No minimum term, no exit fee and no clause that turns cancelling into a phone call you dread.

  • 03

    You deal with the builders

Questions go to the people actually working on your site, not to someone paid to relay them.

  • 04

    Nothing sends without your say-so

Every automated text and review request is written for you and approved by you before it goes anywhere.

  • 05

Live in 7 to 10 days

From the kick-off call to a working site with the automations tested, in under a fortnight.

  • 06

    Replies within one business day

Ask for a change and you hear back the same or next working day, not at the end of a reporting cycle.

The work

Built for your trade, not a template with your logo on it.

Every Smart Site is designed around the way its trade actually wins work. Different customers, different decisions, different things being judged. So they do not get the same layout, the same words or the same colours. Six of ours, and not one of them shares a skeleton.

Example Smart Site for a concreting business: near-black page with condensed capitals and a safety yellow call to action
01 Concreting Condensed grotesk Judged on scale and reliability, so the type is heavy and the palette is site-yard black.
Example Smart Site for a kitchen renovation business: warm terracotta magazine layout with a vertical side navigation and an asymmetric photo mosaic
02 Kitchens High contrast didone Judged on finish, so it is laid out like an interiors magazine and the photography does the talking.
Example Smart Site for a scaffolding business: bone white technical data sheet with an isometric line diagram and a signal orange accent
03 Scaffolding Technical grotesk Judged on safety and turnaround, so it reads like a spec sheet: load ratings, heights, no fluff.
Example Smart Site for a pest control business: deep green split panel hero with a suburb search field
04 Pest control Humanist sans Judged on how fast you turn up, so the very first thing on the page asks for a suburb.
Example Smart Site for a pool servicing business: deep navy with an aspirational serif headline over a twilight backyard photograph
05 Pools Aspirational serif Judged on the picture already in someone's head, so the photography runs full bleed and the copy gets out of the way.
Example Smart Site for a security systems business: soft white and pale sage consumer technology layout with a floating app card
06 Security Rounded geometric Judged on trust, so it is deliberately calm and light rather than the black and neon most of the trade uses.
